Aaron has been fascinated with Japan ever since elementary school. He taught himself Japanese in middle and high schools and majored in Japanese in college. He traveled to Japan twice in high school – once on a People to People Ambassador trip and once with a friend’s family on a trip Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Seoul. In the summer of 2017, between high school and college, Aaron, Chrissy, and I made his third and our first trip to this wonderful country. Aaron planned the itinerary and guided us on a terrific experience. Delaney and Austin got married 5 days before we left and were off on their honeymoon. We rested from the wedding activity for a couple of days and then, as Jimmy Buffett would say, we headed out for the far side of the world.
